Reservations

Use the distillery’s official booking page and read the rules for your chosen tour. A reservation for one activity may not cover another. Woodford Reserve, for example, allows retail-store and bar visits without reservations but requires them for tours and tastings. Woodford Reserve: Personal Selection

Seasonal Hours

Check the dated schedule for your visit, including holiday hours and any production shutdowns. Some distilleries pause production for summer maintenance even while tours continue. Avoid assuming that winter closures or peak periods are the same everywhere. Kentucky Bourbon Trail: visitor FAQs

Common Visitor Policies

Alcohol tastings are for guests 21 and older; bring valid identification. Rules for minors on tours and for pets differ by location. The Trail’s FAQs explain service-animal access and possible production-area restrictions. Ask about any accessibility needs and arrange a sober driver or transportation before the tasting.
